I got some cool news today! We finally got back our animation director and progress is going really well. It has not been this great in the last four months or so, but everything seems to be coming along and I am constantly being asked to review drafts for different scenes (Woohoo!). I haven't much to say today so I will keep this blog post quite short. Be sure to stay tuned for upcoming extra-special renders of a few scenes :)

Wow!!!! One Year Anniversary
Wow! I am very stunned that this project has been alive for an entire year. By now, most volunteer projects are completely abandoned and left to dig their own graves. I'm very very thankful for everyone who has contributed their own precious time towards this project. It's really awesome! Currently, progress has been going quite slow. Two of our most important animators are no longer able to work with us, which means that we need replacements. If you are interested in contributing towards the project then you are welcome to do so. Remember, the more people we get, the faster the movie will be released. We seriously would love it if you joined our team. The 9 Month Journey
What's up!
I cannot believe it has been nine months! Just wow. I still remember starting work on this project and the amount of excitement. Over time everything slowed down and got much more calm. We are right now working on animating the scenes. Our animators have been very hard at work.
It seems like about time to bring about an update. I don't have any images right now since I have to wander through the thousands of files and find a few nice renders. I'll be sure to post them once I gather them together. As for me, I have been very busy lately so the project has been on standby for me but I will start working on it a bit more. We are hoping to finish animating in about 3-4 months. And yes, I know that we originally wanted this movie to be out by March but things come up, esp. in open movie projects. We currently have two really good drafts that are getting quite close to their final state. Can't wait to see them in another week!

Progress...
Well it's been a while so I guess I should start with a hello!
Hello everyone!
It's time for one of those progress updates. Here we go.
We have already finished most of the modeling and the landscape is currently in very early state. The characters are pretty much complete except for the fur. All the houses are done and textured. We still need help mainly modeling cars.

Resurrecting the dead!
October was a bit hard. The project had gone downhill so it was up to me to pick it back up. Many people were inactive or not doing anything. A active and enthusiastic team of 20 people became 5 dedicated members. However things are getting a lot better. Despite our project manager quitting, we have made a good amount of progress. So the almost dead project has been revived. We are going to finish this, and it's going to be great!
In terms of progress we are trying to get all the models finished once and for all in two weeks time. We had originally planned to begin rigging in the beginning of November but things got a bit delayed. Of course December will be really slow with everyone on vacation and/or with their families, so we are working as hard as ever. Almost all our characters are done being modeled except one.
Oh and did I forget to say... we have our own composer!!!! It's exciting so I decided this had to have spacing from the other paragraphs

Home, House, Houses
Long time no see! I've lately been working on the project quite a big trying to pull things together and prevent disorder and chaos. We've made some more modeling progress esp. with the houses. I decided to share a couple with you. Besides that, not many exciting things happening. We are still open for animating and all that goodness. Concept art is pretty much finished besides a few other things. Most of the models are either done or currently being made. We are hoping to finish modeling in two weeks (Nov. 8) so we can move onto rigging and setting up the environments.
